Bob and Melanie Patterson are lifelong residents of Pennsylvania’s Mon Valley, celebrating 35 years of marriage and raising one son. As founders of Mon Riverfront Innovations LLC, they are leading efforts to revitalize the region through sustainable development grounded in faith, family, and American values.

Bob Patterson comes from a proud legacy of industrial craftsmanship. His grandfather founded Patterson Construction in Donora, and his father established Patterson Supply and Flexicore in Monongahela. Bob led Flexicore for many years, producing precast concrete products for major construction projects across Pennsylvania and the tri-state region. He was educated at Wroxeter-on-the-Severn, a private school in Maryland, and attended Valley Forge Military Academy before earning a B.S. in Industrial Arts from California State College. A staunch supporter of President Donald J. Trump’s America First agenda, Bob remains committed to rebuilding American industry and honoring the heritage of the Mon Valley.

Melanie Patterson holds B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in education and spent over two decades teaching in both public and private schools before becoming an inventor and entrepreneur. She holds two U.S. patents for baby products she designed and successfully manufactured for regional distribution. Her work reflects a deep commitment to innovation, family, and conservative principles.

Together, Bob and Melanie combine entrepreneurial spirit with generational knowledge to preserve the Mon Valley’s legacy—and build a stronger, freer future for their community.
